Course £750 for groups of up to 12, though due to Covid -19 maximum up to 8 for a group session This Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support workshop helps direct care staff and those who are new to PBS understand the Key elements of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
The Positive Behaviour Support Approach focuses on the individual’s needs being at the Centre of any intervention strategies that are put into place, and those interventions are only considered successful once they lead to measurable changes in the person’s quality of life. This includes skill development and enhancement of positive social interactions across work, school, recreational, and community settings as well as a reduction in behaviours of concern.
Target Audience
All direct care staff such as: Care workers, Support workers, Team Leaders, Managers of teams, Senior Support workers and PBS practitioners.
